Well, you see I grew up with a love for all types of gadgets- electronic gadgets, spy gadgets, computer gadgets, lifestyle gadgets, and tech gadgets. I remember watching lots of science fiction TV shows as a kid. Most of them were about space travel and alien beings. You may remember shows like “Lost In Space”, “Space 1999?, “Buck Rogers”, “Battlestar Galactica”. Ring any bells for you? If not, then maybe I’m much older than I think I am. Okay, okay… I’m a “Star Wars” fan too. I’m absolutely sure you know about this one.

I also enjoy watching documentaries about the latest inventions and products coming out soon. It’s always fun to see what our scientists and geniuses will come up with next.

I’ll let you in on a secret which not many of my friends know. When I was a kid in school, many of my teachers had problems pronouncing my Chinese name (the official one on my identity documents), so I “adopted” an English name to help them out. And guess where I got this name “Alex” from? It’s actually from a robot character in a movie that I watched. Yeah, I named myself after a robot!

So as you can tell by now, I’m a total freak when it comes to gadgets, hence the name Gadgets Freak for this blog.
